 WHAT IS THE START UP PROCESS?

 

SWIMMING POOL START UP

When your pool is full of water it’s ready for swimming pool start up. We’ll come out and start up the filtration system and add the appropriate chemicals to your pool. Your system will be left running for a long filter cycle until water is balanced.

POOL OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

After your pool, has been started, we’ll call you and set up an appointment for your personal instructions. Please allow at least 1 hour for this instruction time. You will be given detailed instructions on how to operate your pool equipment. It’s essential that you receive these instructions. We will answer any questions you may have now. Be sure to read all the printed information that we leave with you. You will be referring. to this information until all the procedures are familiar.

THE BRUSHING PROCESS (Homeowner’s Responsibility)

Now that your pool has filled and the water is under filtration you will be required to brush the plaster surface. Brush new plaster a minimum of twice a day and run filter while water is cloudy to help remove any plaster dust.

This process should be done daily until all plaster dust has been filtered out (process takes approximately 14 days). This will help insure that your pool surface remains smooth and clean, if you have any questions, please contact us.
Don’t get in or allow pets on the fresh plaster.
When your pool is full of water. We’ll come out and start up the filtration system and add the appropriate chemicals. Your system will be left running for a long filter cycle until water has been polished.

A FEW IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Do not swim, or walk in the pool
• At least one garden hose must be present
• Your pool can not be filled with soft water
• Do not burn trash or leaves the day before your pool is scheduled for    plaster
• Remember to brush the plaster as indicated 2 times a day for the first 14 days
